SPACE TO CREATE

For many artists having a dedicated space in which to develop their practice free from distraction is essential. The studios at the Nucleus Arts Centre & Creative Riverside Hub offer such sanctuary at the most affordable rates in the area.

 All of our 35+ studios are self-contained and benefit from wireless broadband, making the spaces ideal for creative start-up businesses as well as amateur and professional artists.  Studios vary in size and layout with prices starting from as little as £60 per month fully inclusive of utilities. Resident artists also benefit from discounts at our on site café and have access to creative opportunities unavailable elsewhere.

Studios will only be rented for the purpose of creation of artworks (i.e. not as office space) and must be made use of for a minimum of 30 hours per month. Upon application you will be asked to present examples of your recent artwork. All prices are fully inclusive of utilities; no business rates apply. A returnable deposit of £50 is required, studio rents are payable monthly by standing order. All artists are obliged to carry out five ‘community hours’ per month to help with tasks around the arts centre; alternatively artists may choose to opt out of this in return for a monthly fee additional to their rent. One months notice in writing is required to terminate a tenancy.
